Richard Hedley
Golf Professional / Manager

Richard started his professional career as a trainee at Scarcroft Golf Club. In 1998 he became a fully qualified member of the PGA and moved to Cookridge Hall Golf & Country Club as Head Assistant Here Richard specialised in short game coaching as well as the responsibility of running the golf academy setting up the Golf Foundation Coaching Scheme for over 200 juniors.

Richard then moved to The Manor Golf Club as a senior teaching professional enjoying five years here giving over 10,000 lessons. He was also responsible for corporate golf and running the driving range.

In 2007 Richard took over as the Golf Professional / Manager at Woodhall Hills Golf Club. He is responsible for all Golf Operations, providing a fully stocked golf shop and all golf instruction.

Paul Clemerson
Assistant Golf Professional

Paul began his golf as a junior at Oakdale Golf Club in Harrogate and represented his club at both junior level and senior level. At fourteen he played for the Harrogate and district union team and retained his place for a further three years before playing on several occasions for the men’s 1st team.

After a successful 6 years in Hotel Management he decided to fulfil his dream of turning professional and joined the PGA in 2006.

After a year at the exclusive De Vere Oulton Hall he moved to the Manor Golf Club and followed Richard to Woodhall Hills in January 2008.

Paul has aspirations of teaching in Europe and eventually becoming Head Professional at a prestigious golf club either in the UK or abroad.
